FREE LAND will be given to those who move to this city

The city of Curtis, located in the state of Nebraska, USA, has launched a new incentive program to prevent population decline and revitalize the local economy. Within the framework of the project, completely free land plots are allocated to individuals who want to move to the city permanently and build a private residential house.

“Elchi” reports that the program is being implemented by the Medicine Valley Economic Development Council. The goal is to increase the city’s population, strengthen the workforce, and maintain economic activity. All basic infrastructure for the allocated land plots – roads, water, electricity, and other utility services – has been prepared in advance.

Candidates who want to receive free land must comply with the following requirements:

They must build a private residential house within a specified period after receiving the land plot.

They must move to the city for permanent residence and not use the land solely for investment or seasonal living purposes.

All costs for the construction of the house and subsequent expenses must be covered by the landowner themselves.

Additional incentives are also provided for families with children under the program. Financial support in a certain amount is offered to families with children studying at the local school. The city administration believes that this step will help maintain the operation of schools and attract young families to the region.

Curtis administration states that the main goal of the program is not only to attract new residents but also to form a long-term and sustainable community. It is noted that in recent years, several families have moved to the city under the project, new residential houses have been built, and local economic activity has increased.
