Czech President Pavel: Ukraine has two months to end the conflict

The Czech President called on Ukraine to end the conflict as soon as possible.
“Elchi” reports that Ukraine has two months to end the conflict with Russia, otherwise it will face “massive escalation” from Moscow. Czech President Petr Pavel stated this in an interview with The Telegraph.
“Ukraine has two months to end the war, otherwise it will face a major escalation. <…> I think we have the opportunity to continue increasing pressure and send a clear signal to Russia that we are ready for negotiations,” he said.
According to the politician, Western leaders should exert “strong pressure” on Russia, provide Ukraine with “everything necessary for a successful defense,” and at the same time use “all diplomatic skills” to persuade Russia to “negotiate.”
On July 8, US President Donald Trump, during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian oil refineries create an “escalation” that could help end the conflict. On the same day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that Washington hopes Ukrainian strikes will “create conditions for negotiations to end the war.”
In a recent interview with RBC-Ukraine, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office (listed as a terrorist and extremist) Kirill Budanov also emphasized that the conflict in Ukraine must first reach maximum escalation so that it is possible to achieve a de-escalation and resume peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv.
