A Russian diplomat has been summoned to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), and a protest note has been presented to them in connection with the recent massive strikes on Ukraine.
“Elchi” reports that the Lithuanian MFA announced this on the “X” social network.
“The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned a Russian diplomat to present a protest note regarding the recent massive attacks in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine, which caused numerous civilian casualties. The Lithuanian side also rejected the false statements made by representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry directed against the Baltic states,” the statement said.
It should be noted that today, a Russian drone strike on Kyiv resulted in 3 deaths and 10 injuries. The previous attack by the Russian Armed Forces on the Ukrainian capital on the night of July 5-6 claimed the lives of 22 people.
