Today, our allies are officially announcing the delivery of the 10th Airbus A330 MRTT aircraft to the multinational MRTT (Multi-Role Tanker Transport) fleet.
This delivery brings us one step closer to our goal of a 12-aircraft MRTT fleet.
We are also launching a new multinational project aimed at the Airbus A400M aircraft. This is an initiative that will provide world-class strategic air transport capability.
The A330 MRTT and A400M will provide the alliance with two high-capability multinational air fleets.
Today, many of our allies will purchase 12 aircraft from Airbus as part of their tanker fleets to increase their air capacity.
