Any attempts to hinder Syria’s development process or undermine its security in the country will not affect the restoration of its role both in the region and in the world.
“Elchi” reports that Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al-Shaibani wrote about this on the “X” social network.
“Today, supporting Syria means supporting stability in the region, and growing international partnerships confirm that the era of isolation is in the past, and the future is built on cooperation, development, and common interests. The Syrian state continues to protect its citizens, ensure its security and stability, and fight against all forms of terrorism,” he noted.
Al-Shaibani noted that the relevant authorities are monitoring all incidents and will hold any organization or individual that poses a threat to the country’s security accountable.
He also emphasized that the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Damascus is a historic step and will be a turning point in the development of bilateral relations.
It should be noted that today, two explosions occurred in Damascus near the “Four Seasons” hotel, where the visiting French president is staying. The Syrian Ministry of Interior reported that 18 people were injured as a result of the explosions. Later, it became known that the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Syria, Faraj al-Kashkush, was also injured.
