A unified approach to dress code requirements for teachers will be implemented.
“Elchi” reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law “On General Education,” which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, “Requirements for the clothing of educators in state general education institutions will be determined by the body (institution) defined by the relevant executive authority.”
Among the duties of parents or other legal representatives in the field of general education, ensuring that their children (persons under their guardianship or care) comply with the requirements regarding school uniforms in state general education institutions is also included.
Currently, school uniforms are applied for students in state general education institutions. In this regard, according to the new Article 24.2.2-1 proposed to the Law “On General Education,” it is proposed to impose the duty of ensuring compliance with the mentioned requirements regarding students’ uniforms on parents or other legal representatives.
Requirements regarding clothing must be observed by students and educators in state general education institutions.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
