It has been reported that US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Syrian President Ahmad Shara following the NATO Summit meetings to be held in Ankara.
elchi reports that White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly, along with US Ambassador to NATO Matt Whitaker, shared some new information regarding the Ankara visit during a press conference held via teleconference.
During the meeting, detailed information was also provided regarding the bilateral meetings that US President Trump will hold after the NATO Summit in Ankara. In this context, it was stated that the US President will meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky and Syrian President Shara after the NATO Summit program in Ankara on Wednesday.
In his statement at the meeting, NATO Ambassador Whitaker drew attention to the Alliance’s defense spending and burden-sharing issues, stating that the summit is an “important milestone for the future of the Alliance.”
White House Deputy Press Secretary Kelly also shared some details regarding President Trump’s schedule in Ankara within the framework of the NATO Leaders’ Summit.
