A delegation led by Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University (NDU) of the Republic of Turkey, has visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The guests first visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the main square of Nakhchivan, paying tribute to his memory.
Afterward, they visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum, viewed exhibits reflecting the life and activities of the Great Leader, and were briefed on his rich statehood legacy.
The delegation also visited the monument to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, located in Nakhchivan, and honored his memory.
Within the framework of the visit, the guests visited the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Army (CAA). The Commander of the CAA, Lieutenant General Kenan Seyidov, met with the head of the delegation, Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, and the “Book of Honor” was signed in accordance with protocol.
During the meeting, the importance of further expanding cooperation in the field of military education was emphasized, and discussions were held on future work in this direction and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
The delegation was briefed on the activities of the CAA’s Combat Control Center.
At the Training and Education Center, they toured various classrooms, the simulation center, and the simulator hall.
In the end, historical and cultural monuments were visited.
