“There will be no reconciliation, we want the sentence to be increased” – Amal’s sister

As we have reported, the court investigation into the criminal case of “tiktoker” Ilduza Hajiyeva (Arzum) has concluded.

According to the verdict, Arzum was sentenced to 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment, to be served in a general regime penal institution. The tiktoker was arrested in the courtroom.

“Elchi” reports that the sister of Amal Malikov, who lost his life in the accident, made a post on social media.

She stated that there can be no talk of any reconciliation with Arzum:

“After the court decision, we see attempts by various individuals to contact our family, come to our home, ask for ‘reconciliation,’ and beg, as well as calls about this on social networks. No one should approach our family or relatives. There will be no reconciliation. After the insults directed at the deceased and our family following the accident, this is no longer possible.”

She noted that they will file an appeal to increase the sentence:

“Amal’s mother is bedridden and in poor health. In the coming days, we will file a complaint with the Baku Court of Appeal to increase the sentence. Our legal battle will continue until the end.”
