The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has strongly condemned the attack in the Hijaz district of Damascus, the capital of Syria, which resulted in casualties.

“We believe that the best response to such attempts aimed at undermining the progress made towards ensuring lasting stability and security in Syria, as well as to those circles seeking to disrupt public order, will be given by the Syrian people, who maintain their unity and solidarity,” the statement noted.
According to the latest reports, five people were killed and 16 others were injured in the attack in Damascus.
