The State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has conducted fire-tactical training on the topic of fire extinguishing at the “Temporary Modernization Design” office building of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, located in the Nizami district of Baku.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was noted that the main purpose of the training was to improve the interaction of fire protection units involved in the area in case of fire at strategically important facilities where products belonging to high-combustion groups are processed, to strengthen the professional skills of personnel in extinguishing possible fires at such facilities, and to increase the knowledge of the facility’s relevant staff regarding initial behavior rules during fires.
During the training, the fire protection units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ State Fire Protection Service, which arrived promptly at the scene of the simulated fire in the Temporary Modernization Design office building, carried out the evacuation of employees from the “danger zone,” conducted agile reconnaissance at the “fire” site, and performed the “fire extinguishing” operation.
After the successfully conducted training, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
A total of 9 units of equipment and 48 personnel from the State Fire Protection Service were involved in the training.
