The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue, held a meeting on the topic of “Ensuring safety in water basins” at the Center’s administrative building.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was stated that the meeting was attended by officials from the Lankaran City and Astara District Executive Authorities and their administrative territorial district representations, municipalities, beach operators, law enforcement and emergency medical units, local hygiene and epidemiology centers, and other relevant agencies, as well as representatives of coastal catering facilities.
At the event, information was provided on the results of monitoring conducted in the water basins in the territories of the mentioned districts, the identified shortcomings were demonstrated through photo slides, and ways to eliminate them were discussed in detail.
Speakers at the meeting also provided information regarding the rules for ensuring the safety of citizens on beaches during the summer season, the state of awareness-raising work, and relevant safety measures implemented in water basins across the country.
