An “open door day” event was held at Fire Protection Unit No. 22 of the Sumgayit City State Fire Protection Department, organized by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was stated that the purpose of the event, attended by children and teachers from the “Shirin Arilar” kindergarten, was to contribute to the comprehensive development of children, their physical and moral well-being, the formation of a culture of safe life activities, as well as basic fire safety knowledge, and to increase the level of awareness regarding the professional activities of firefighters.
During the “open door day” event, participants were provided with detailed information about the daily routine rules of firefighters and the activities of the units. They were shown methods of using primary fire extinguishing equipment and parts of the staff’s daily exercises.
Additionally, the children were introduced to the necessary fire extinguishing and other emergency rescue vehicles and equipment used during emergencies, and were informed about safe behavior rules during emergency situations.
During the engaging event, questions that interested the children were answered.
