Tomorrow, the 10th day of the month of Muharram – the Ashura ceremony will be observed.
elchi reminds that according to the information from the Council of Qazis of the Caucasus Muslims Office, the month of Muharram began on June 16. Ashura falls on June 25.
One of the important events during the Muharram period is the blood donation campaign held on the day of Ashura in memory of the martyrs of Karbala.
With the initiative of the Caucasus Muslims Office and the joint organization of the Ministry of Health, blood donation campaigns will be held again this year in mosques and shrines, in the branches of the Republican Blood Bank in the capital and regions, as well as in other medical institutions for the sake of Allah, in memory of Imam Hussein (pbuh) and the dear martyrs.
