According to the news from elchi, this is reflected in the new chapter proposed to the Law “On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information”, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Human Rights Committee of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, based on the information obtained about cyber incidents that occurred in information infrastructure facilities, a risk-based assessment is carried out by the Digital Investigation Center. In accordance with the results of the assessment, the Digital Investigation Center determines the cyber incidents for which a digital investigation should be conducted.
Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT) operating in the field can be involved by the Digital Investigation Center in conducting digital investigations of cyber incidents.
During the digital investigation, the integrity of the data obtained by CERTs or the Digital Investigation Center must be protected, their alteration, deletion, or falsification must not be allowed, and methods and tools in accordance with international cybersecurity standards must be used during the digital investigation.
