Organized by the Aran Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a civil defense exercise on warning and assembly was held with the non-militarized territorial civil defense units of the Yevlax district.
According to the information provided by the Ministry to “Elchi”, the exercise, held on the topic of “Activities of non-militarized territorial civil defense units upon a warning assembly signal during emergency situations,” was attended by the head of the MES Aran Regional Center, Lieutenant Colonel Ramin Orucov, the head of the Yevlax City Executive Power Anar Tagiyev, heads of district law enforcement agencies and relevant organizations, the Commission on Emergency Situations, the Civil Defense Headquarters, and personnel of the territorial civil defense units.
A total of 44 pieces of equipment and 176 personnel from the Yevlax district non-militarized territorial civil defense units were involved in the exercise.
The purpose of the exercise was to check the readiness level of territorial civil defense units for rapid response to emergency situations, coordinate joint activities in crisis situations, improve the management knowledge and skills of the command staff, and instill practical skills in personnel regarding warning and assembly.
During the event, the activities of the non-militarized territorial civil defense units regarding notification of an emergency, mobilization upon a warning signal, marching to the assembly point, and organization of assembly and management were checked, and reports on functional duties were heard.
Speakers at the event highlighted the importance of the exercise on warning and assembly with territorial civil defense units and discussed the significance of such events.
After the successfully conducted exercise, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
