The Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has held a series of awareness-raising events on the topic of “Fire safety rules” in forest areas and recreation centers located in the Khizi district.
“Elchi” reports that the ministry has released information regarding this.
It was stated that the events were attended by employees of the relevant local bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, representatives of local executive and self-governing bodies, citizens working and vacationing in recreation centers, as well as village residents.
“During the events, citizens were provided with detailed information on necessary preventive measures to prevent possible fires in various locations, especially in forest belts and recreation zones, and safe behavior rules in case of fires were explained.
Questions were answered, and memory booklets and various awareness-raising materials on the topic were presented to the citizens,” the statement noted.
