Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong.
“Elchi” reports that this information was shared on the “X” social media account of the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications.
During the meeting, Turkey-Singapore bilateral relations, as well as issues on the regional and global agenda, were discussed.
Emphasizing the importance of further deepening cooperation between Turkey and Singapore, Erdogan stated that efforts will continue to develop relations in many areas, primarily in the defense industry, logistics, aviation, maritime, and finance sectors.
The Turkish leader also noted that Ankara is carrying out intensive diplomatic activities to ensure lasting peace between Iran and the US. He stressed the importance of protecting freedom of navigation and shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and stated that Turkey will continue to contribute to the process together with brotherly countries.
