Electronic registration for applicants wishing to participate in aptitude tests for specialties requiring special abilities (XQTİ) at secondary specialized education institutions based on general (9-year) secondary education for the 2026/2027 academic year is beginning.

The registration process for commissions in the fields of visual arts, theater, cinema and choreography, and music will continue from June 18 to June 29.
Applicants wishing to participate in aptitude tests for XQTİ at secondary specialized education institutions based on general secondary education can register for only 1 field.
It is noted that applicants who have scored a total of 50 or higher (no relative score restriction is applied for subjects) in the first stage of the entrance exam (graduation exam for current year graduates) can register for specialties requiring special abilities at secondary specialized education institutions based on general (9-year) secondary education. Information about the dates when applicants can print their “Aptitude Test Admission Slip” will be provided on the SEC website. The “Aptitude Test Admission Slip” will indicate the date, address, and time of the aptitude tests.
Information on specialties requiring special abilities has been published in the special issues of the “Abituriyent” magazine for the directions of aptitude tests published in 2026. This includes information on specialties requiring special abilities for undergraduate and graduate levels of higher education, as well as secondary specialized education institutions based on complete (11-year) and general (9-year) secondary education, aptitude test programs, evaluation criteria, recommendations and advice on preparation for exams, sample tasks, reproductions of visual aids, pictures, and other useful information.
