Israel’s military operations in Lebanon will mean the violation of the agreement to be signed between the US and Iran, and necessary measures will be taken.
“Elchi” reports, citing ISNA, that this was stated by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
“Both sides have agreed to negotiate for a final agreement within 60 days,” the MFA noted.
It was added that the naval blockade must be lifted within 30 days:
“As for the Strait of Hormuz, it has been decided to return maritime traffic to normal within the specified period. This is our own duty, and we will fulfill it without the participation or interference of other parties.”
It was stated that Iran and Oman will cooperate to develop a mechanism for managing the Strait of Hormuz, and if necessary, will exchange views with other countries in the region.
Earlier, Iranian MFA spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that the memorandum could be signed by the presidents of Iran and the US.
