However, additional services such as sunbeds, umbrellas, tables, transportation, and food increase the total cost of the vacation.
For those who bring their own umbrella and mat, and bring food from home, a one-day vacation at the beach is mainly limited to travel expenses, with the budget ranging between 0-10 AZN. The expenses for those who rent a standard shade or table at the beach and have light snacks average 10-30 AZN.
For those who prefer a more comfortable vacation, expenses increase significantly. For instance, if a family of 4 eats at a restaurant, orders samovar tea, and uses additional services, the total cost can exceed 50-100 AZN, and in some cases, even more.
The choice of transportation to the beach is also a key factor affecting the budget. Instead of a taxi, it is recommended to use special bus routes that operate during the summer season. Passengers can reach the beaches via routes departing from the Koroglu metro station towards Bilgah, Mardakan, and Pirshagi.
Furthermore, a number of services are provided free of charge to citizens at public beaches created by the state. Free toilets, changing cabins, showers, rescue stations, and recreation areas operate at the Buzovna, Goradil, Novkhani, and Pirshagi beaches. This allows people who come with their own equipment to have a comfortable rest without incurring additional costs.
