A new livestock market has started operating in Bina settlement, Surakhani district, Baku.
This was reported to elchi by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AQTA).
It was stated that this facility is not a restoration of an existing base, but a completely newly constructed livestock market in accordance with modern requirements.
The market is equipped with infrastructure that meets veterinary-sanitary and biosafety requirements. Appropriate conditions have been created at the facility for the implementation of veterinary control; a clinical examination platform, disinfection barriers, isolators, and relevant equipment for measuring the weight and body temperature of animals have been installed.
At the same time, special sections have been organized for the keeping, display, loading, and unloading of animals, and water and feed supply, lighting, and waste management systems have been fully established.
It should be reminded that previously, livestock markets have also started operating in Barda, Goygol, Salyan, Goychay, Shamakhi, Imishli, Aghjabadi, Beylagan, Bilasuvar, Kurdamir, Absheron, Masalli, and Aghsu districts.
