Tehran can only benefit from the agreement reached with Washington if it fulfills its own obligations, but this is not about direct US funding.
elchi reports that US Vice President J.D. Vance stated this in an interview with Fox News.
“If Iran fulfills its part of the obligations, certain benefits will be provided for it. It is not about money coming from the United States, but perhaps Qatar, the UAE, or Saudi Arabia will want to invest in Iran, for example, to build a power plant there,” Vance said.
According to him, if Tehran complies with the terms of the agreement, the US administration will not hinder such investments. Otherwise, the Vice President emphasized, Iran “will not see any benefit from this agreement.”
