Organized by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an “open door day” event was held at Fire Protection Unit No. 19 of the Fire Protection Detachment for Oil Refining Enterprises.

The purpose of the “open door day” organized for members of the “Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan” youth organization was to contribute to the comprehensive development of the organization’s members, their physical and moral well-being, the formation of a culture of safe life activity, as well as basic fire safety knowledge, and to increase the level of awareness regarding the professional activities of firefighters.
During the “open door day” event, participants were provided with detailed information about the daily routine of firefighters and the activities of the units; they were also shown the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment and a part of the staff’s daily training exercises.
Furthermore, the participants became closely acquainted with the necessary fire extinguishing and other emergency rescue equipment used during emergencies and were informed about safety behavior rules during emergency situations.
The event, which was held in an engaging atmosphere, concluded with detailed answers to the questions asked.
