The Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue, held a meeting at the Center’s administrative building on the topic of “Ensuring safety in water basins”.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The meeting was attended by responsible persons from the Sumgayit City Executive Power and its administrative territorial district representations, the Sumgayit City Police Department, the Sumgayit City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, municipalities, other relevant agencies, and representatives of coastal catering facilities.
At the event, information was provided on the results of monitoring conducted in water basins within the city, and ways to eliminate the identified shortcomings were discussed in detail.
Speakers at the meeting also provided information on the rules for ensuring the safety of citizens on beaches during the summer season, the state of awareness-raising work, and relevant safety measures implemented in water basins across the country.
