On June 16, documents were signed between the two countries with the participation of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, who is on a business trip to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the Uzbek side to participate in the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

The documents provide for the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan with the participation of “AzerGold” CJSC, as well as cooperation in the banking sector between the “International Bank of Azerbaijan” OJSC and the relevant agency of Uzbekistan, and the joint development of significant mineral resources in Uzbekistan with the participation of NEQSOL Holding.
