The group stage match of the Football World Cup between the national teams of Iran and New Zealand has ended in a draw.
elchi reports that in the Group G match, New Zealand player Elijah Just opened the scoring in the 7th minute.
Iran’s national team equalized in the 32nd minute with a goal by Ramin Rezaeian. Although New Zealand took the lead again in the 55th minute with Elijah Just’s second goal, Mohammad Mohebi scored Iran’s equalizer in the 64th minute.
Thus, the match ended in a 2:2 draw, and both teams earned one point each.
