Qatar has refuted the report published by “The Washington Post” (WP) claiming that Doha allegedly coordinates its energy decisions with Iran, labeling the allegations in the material as fake and baseless.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in a declaration by Qatar’s International Media Office.
The agency emphasized that decisions regarding the production and supply of energy resources have never been made in coordination with Iran and have not aimed to promote Tehran’s interests or influence the situation in the region.
“All such allegations are completely baseless,” the statement noted.
