The State Examination Center will hold an entrance exam for the master’s programs of higher education institutions on June 14, 2026.

It was stated that the exam will be organized in 3 cities and districts of the republic – Baku, Sumgait, and Absheron, in a total of 63 buildings.
The exam results will be announced in 2 stages. Within 2-3 days after the exam, the results of closed-ended and open-ended questions with coded answers will be announced. The final exam score will be presented after the essay tasks are graded.
For information, note that the application process was carried out online from May 21 to May 23. 15,719 bachelors have submitted applications to participate in the exam. Of them, 14,612 will take the exam in the Azerbaijani section, and 1,107 in the Russian section. Of the bachelors, 10,632 are graduates of the current year, 5,087 are graduates of previous years, and 35 are foreign citizens.
It should be noted that although the second attempt of the master’s entrance exam was held on May 17, due to force majeure circumstances related to adverse weather conditions, the SEC decided to re-administer the second attempt of the master’s entrance exam in Baku, Absheron, and Sumgait on June 14, 2026.
