The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the additional “self-defense” attacks, which began on June 10 against various targets in Iran under the orders of US President Donald Trump, have concluded.
“Elchi” reports that CENTCOM’s statement indicated that military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense facilities in Iran were targeted as part of the operation.
The statement noted that elements of the US Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy carried out precision strikes against targets assessed to pose a threat to US forces and international commercial vessels in the region.
The statement claimed that these attacks were carried out in response to Iran’s “unjust and ongoing aggression” and emphasized that US forces remain “vigilant, lethal, and ready.”
