Baku Metro switches to summer schedule

From June 16, the Baku Metro schedule will be changed.

According to the information provided to elchi by the organization, considering the decrease in passenger flow due to the end of the regular academic process in universities and general education institutions, as well as the beginning of the active vacation period, train operations will be organized according to the summer schedule.

After the change, the interval between trains on the “28 May-Ahmedli” section will be 2 minutes and 18 seconds during peak hours on weekdays, 2 minutes and 30 seconds on Saturdays, and 3 minutes on Sundays.

The schedule for “Bakmil” and the return direction will be published on the Baku Metro website.

The train schedule for the Purple Line, as well as the “Jafar Jabbarli-Khatai” and “Hazi Aslanov-Ahmedli” sections, will remain unchanged.

According to the information, control measures and monitoring will continue, and reserve trains will be kept ready to be released onto the line if necessary. The summer schedule will be in effect until the start of the new academic season.
