Today, the dangers children face are not limited to those encountered on the streets or at home; they also face dangers in the virtual space.
“Elchi” reports that Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ismat Aliyev stated this at the presentation of the book “Children and Law” and the research work “Children’s Legal Thinking,” prepared by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
He noted that, for this reason, preventive measures are being carried out with relevant agencies.
“A child is the future not only of the family but also of the state and society. Protecting children’s rights is one of the priority directions of state policy,” the deputy minister emphasized.
According to him, in the modern era, physical, psychological, and domestic violence against children, neglect, early marriage, and dangerous factors in cyberspace and other places are manifesting themselves: “In this regard, we are continuously working on identifying children at risk, restoring their rights, and organizing their protection together with relevant state agencies.”
