The statement added that in response to the attacks, the Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy attacked the US 5th Fleet in Bahrain with UAVs at 02:30 local time.
The statement notes that clashes with US forces are ongoing, that Revolutionary Guard Corps units are responding to the attacks, and emphasizes that heavier responses will be given if the US side continues its attacks.
