Events held on behavioral rules in emergency situations

A series of events have been held by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to raise public awareness about behavioral rules in emergency situations.

This was reported to elchi by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was stated that with the participation of specialists from the State Fire Control Service, the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Baku Regional Center (RC) held awareness-raising events at the Baku Main Health Center in Yasamal district, the Aran RC at the representation of the Head of Yevlax City Executive Power for the Nemetabad village administrative-territorial district and at secondary school No. 2 of Aran settlement in Yevlax district, the Ganja RC at Goygol Wine Plant OJSC, the Karabakh RC at kindergarten No. 5 in Tartar city, the Mugan RC at Shirvan City Oncology Hospital, and the North-West RC at the Gobustan District Culture Center and the secondary school of Mazikh village in Zaqatala district.

The purpose of holding these events was to provide citizens with the necessary knowledge regarding behavioral rules in the event of potential natural and man-made emergencies.

During the events, detailed information was provided on the classification of emergencies, emergencies characteristic of our country, including necessary behavioral rules related to fires and earthquakes, the purpose of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ “112” hotline was explained, and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment were demonstrated practically.

During the interactive events, questions were answered in detail.
