Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili.

It was reported that during the meeting between Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili, held within the framework of the 10th trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey in Istanbul, the current state and future prospects of the Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic partnership were discussed.
The ministers emphasized the importance of close political dialogue, strong economic ties, as well as successful cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, and regional connectivity.
The parties also exchanged views on regional and international processes, noting the growing strategic importance of the South Caucasus as a vital corridor connecting Europe and Asia.
The heads of the Foreign Ministries reaffirmed their joint commitment to advancing joint projects that contribute to regional stability, energy security, and sustainable economic development, including the Southern Gas Corridor, the Middle Corridor, and other connectivity initiatives.
