The interview stage has started today, June 8, for candidates who meet the requirements of the State Program and successfully submitted their documents in the first stage.

It was stated that the document submission stage for the 2026-2027 academic year under the “2022–2028 State Program for the Education of Youth in Prestigious Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries” has concluded for the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
It was noted that during the document submission period, which covered April 15 to June 5, 1,221 candidates applied for education abroad under the State Program across 106 higher education institutions in 21 countries. 271 of the applicants have received admission from higher education institutions ranked in the top 10 of global ranking tables (“Times Higher Education”, “QS World University Rankings”, “Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai)”).

Guided by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 12, 2024, No. 248, the annual quota for admission to the State Program has been set at up to 500 people. No more than 25 percent of the quota covers the bachelor’s level, no more than 20 percent covers the doctoral level, and the remaining part covers the master’s level.
