Entrance exams for I and IV specialty groups will be held today

The State Examination Center (SEC) will hold entrance exams for higher education institutions for I and IV specialty groups today.

According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the SEC, an exam in Geography will also be held on the same day for those who have chosen both the DT and TC subgroups of the III group.

The exam will be organized in Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Agstafa, Gazakh, Sumgayit, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Guba, and Khachmaz.

The exam starts at 10:00. The admission regime ends 15 minutes before the start of the exam – at 09:45, and participants arriving after this time will not be admitted to the exam building.

Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:

– Exam admission ticket;

– Original identity document.

a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must bring their identity card;

b) Foreigners and stateless persons must bring their residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, and foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must bring their refugee cards;

– Participants who do not have a photo on their identity card must bring, along with other documents, a certificate issued by the educational institution with a photo attached (a 3×4 cm photo of the participant is attached to the certificate and stamped).

A total of 212 exam buildings and 3,803 exam halls have been allocated in the cities and districts where the exam is held. 212 general exam supervisors, 605 exam supervisors, 4,716 invigilators, 673 admission regime staff, and 212 building representatives have been involved in managing the exams.

A total of 51,690 applicants are expected to participate in the exam, including 33,986 for the I specialty group, 6,518 for the IV specialty group, and 11,186 for the Geography exam for those who chose both the DT and TC subgroups of the III specialty group.

65 applicants with disabilities (visually impaired, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, etc.) will also participate in the exam. Special halls have been allocated in the exam buildings for their comfort, and individual invigilators have been assigned to persons with visual impairments determined by 81-100 percent impairment of body functions. Conditions have also been created for the entry and movement of applicants with limited mobility in the buildings and halls.
