The Azerbaijan women’s national football team has played its next match in the World Cup qualifying round.
“Elchi” reports that the team, coached by Siyasat Asgarov, faced the Hungarian national team.
The match, held at the Mehdi Huseynzade Sumgayit City Stadium, ended in a 2-1 victory for the opponent. Khanim Asadova scored for the Azerbaijan national team in the 74th minute.
It should be noted that the national team, which is in Group 3 of League C, previously defeated Andorra at home and away (3-1, 2-0), as well as North Macedonia in Baku (2-0). The team lost to Hungary away with a score of 0-1.
