Registration for the residency admission exam begins

Registration for candidates to participate in the 2nd attempt of the 1st stage of the residency admission exam based on basic higher medical education (the exam for assessing knowledge of basic subjects) will be conducted online from May 25 to June 4.

This information was provided to “Elchi” by the State Examination Center (SEC).

It was stated that candidates who submitted documents to participate in the residency admission exam held on May 3 of this year, if they wish to participate in the repeat exam (2nd attempt), must add the required amount (60 AZN) to their “Personal Cabinet” accounts and register by accessing the relevant page of the Center’s website (https://www.e-gov.az/az/services/read/3148/2).

Candidates who did not participate in the document submission this year can also register for the 2nd attempt of the 1st stage. After creating a “Personal Cabinet” on the Center’s website at ekabinet.dim.gov.az (if they do not already have one), these individuals must add the required amount (60 AZN) to their “Personal Cabinet” accounts to submit an application. Payment methods for adding funds to the account can be found on the epayment.dim.gov.az website. These candidates must access the https://www.e-gov.az/az/services/read/3148/2 page, fill out the “Candidate’s electronic application” form, and confirm (or have it confirmed) it. Candidates who have confirmed (or had confirmed) their application are considered registered.

The 2nd attempt of the exam for assessing knowledge of basic subjects is planned to be held on June 21.

Candidates who have achieved a “passing” result in the exam for assessing knowledge of basic subjects and are eligible for residency admission, but did not participate in the application process from April 13 to 20, must also fill out and confirm (or have confirmed) the “Candidate’s electronic application” between May 25 and June 4 to participate in the exam for assessing knowledge of specialty subjects (Stage II).
