Mining accident in Angola: 28 dead

According to preliminary information, 28 people died as a result of a landslide in an illegal gold mine in northern Angola, 13 of whom are from the same family.
elchi reports that the collapse occurred in an abandoned mine in the city of Nambuangongo, Bengo province.
The bodies of 28 miners trapped under the rubble have been found. It has been determined that 13 of these individuals belonged to the same family.
Three people who were rescued from the mine with injuries have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing for two people who are still believed to be in the mine.
