52 people received medical care at WUF13

A total of 52 requests were received by the Republican Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid from event participants within the framework of the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

This was reported to “Elchi” by TABIB.

It was stated that out of the individuals who applied to the emergency medical teams serving in the area where the session was held and other designated locations, 10 people were evacuated to various medical facilities.

Of these, 1 person received medical care at the Clinical Medical Center, 1 at the Central Oil Workers’ Hospital, 2 at the Mahammadi Modular Hospital under the Sabunchu Medical Center, and 6 at the Yeni Klinika. Other applicants received outpatient medical care on-site.

For information, it should be noted that in addition to emergency and urgent medical services during the event days, 4 medical institutions were also involved in the process to organize medical services.

During the event days, requests were mainly recorded from citizens of countries such as Azerbaijan, Kenya, Italy, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Namibia, Ethiopia, Serbia, Zimbabwe, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The requests were mainly related to acute respiratory diseases, headaches, and arterial hypertension.

It should be recalled that in connection with the event, 37 emergency medical vehicles were allocated across various areas, and a total of 93 emergency medical teams operated continuously in an enhanced work mode in the areas where the event was held and at designated hotels.

It should be noted that during the days of the event, the activities of the emergency medical teams were coordinated continuously by TABIB employees at the Main Operations Center.
