For the 2026-2027 academic year, the registration of applicants (sub-bachelors) for specialties requiring special aptitude (XQTI) at higher education institutions (Group V) and secondary specialized education institutions based on full (11-year) secondary education will be carried out from May 21 to June 1.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the SEC (State Examination Center).
It is stated that applicants (sub-bachelors) can register by accessing the relevant link.
Aptitude tests will be held in sports, fine arts, music, theater, cinema, and choreography.
It is noted that applicants can register for a maximum of 4 commissions in only 1 direction of specialties requiring special aptitude at higher and secondary specialized education institutions.
“Special issues of the ‘Abituriyent’ magazine regarding specialties requiring special aptitude at higher education institutions will be published in the coming days. Aptitude tests are scheduled to be held in June – August. Information about the dates when applicants (sub-bachelors) can print their ‘Aptitude Test Admission Slip’ will be provided on the SEC website. The ‘Aptitude Test Admission Slip’ will indicate the date, address, and time of the aptitude tests.
Applicants who take the entrance (graduation) exam in a language other than Azerbaijani can register even if the result of their first attempt at the Azerbaijani language (state language) exam is ‘fail’. However, we would like to inform these applicants that they will be admitted to the competition only if they receive a ‘pass’ in the second attempt of the Azerbaijani language (state language) exam to be held on June 21.
Sub-bachelors can register for aptitude test commissions that correspond to the secondary specialized education they have received. Let us remind you that when registering, the appropriate commissions for the specialties are presented to the sub-bachelor via software. Sub-bachelors must confirm their applications by June 1. Thus, the registration of electronic applications for applicants wishing to be admitted to specialties requiring special aptitude at higher education institutions and secondary specialized education institutions based on 11-year education will continue until 23:59 on June 1. Sub-bachelors must also register for the relevant aptitude commission by the specified date to participate in the aptitude test. Sub-bachelors who wish to participate in XQTI aptitude tests but have incomplete educational data are advised to ensure that the required information is entered into the system by the responsible persons of the secondary specialized education institution no later than May 31. Sub-bachelors who will graduate from a secondary specialized education institution in the current year can register for the aptitude test after saving their electronic application. However, those sub-bachelors must also confirm their applications by August 2 after the required information is entered into the system by the responsible persons of the secondary specialized education institution,” the statement said.
