As part of a drug investigation against celebrities in Turkey, detention warrants have been issued for 25 people, 14 of whom have already been detained.
“Elchi” reports, citing NTV, that the operation was carried out within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the information, based on the examined digital materials and other evidence obtained, reasonable suspicions have been established that well-known public figures have been using narcotic and psychotropic substances.
Starting from 07:00 in the morning, officers from the Istanbul Police Department conducted operations at a total of 25 addresses in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, and Üsküdar districts, as well as in Muğla.
Among those detained are Mabel Matiz, Feyza Civelek, Onur Tuna, and Osman Haktan Canevi. The list of individuals for whom detention warrants were issued also includes Serenay Sarıkaya, Berkay Sahin, Tan Tasci, and Mirgun Cabas.
It is reported that the detained individuals are first undergoing medical examinations and are then taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for drug testing. Following this, they are presented to the prosecutor’s office to provide statements.
It should be noted that the drug investigation involving celebrities in Turkey has been ongoing since October 2025. Within the scope of the investigation, samples have been taken from a number of well-known figures, and arrest warrants have been issued for some individuals.
