The Ashagi Nematabad Family Health Center (Center), operating under the Agdash District Central Hospital and constructed with the organization of TABIB and the financial support of the Government of Japan, has been opened.
“Elchi” reports that TABIB has released information regarding this.
The opening ceremony was attended by Tohfa Jamilova, Advisor to the Executive Director of TABIB, Aynur Novruzova, Deputy Head of the Agdash District Executive Authority, Katsuya Watanabe, Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan, and Mukai Shinichi, First Secretary of the Embassy, as well as Intigam Ibrahimov, Director of the Agdash District Central Hospital, and other officials.
It was noted that the Center was built within the framework of the “Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects” program of the Government of Japan. The medical facility has been fully equipped with new modern inventory and equipment, and landscaping work has been carried out in the area.
The newly constructed medical facility includes rooms for doctors, nurses, as well as rooms for vaccinations, gynecological examinations, and procedures (injections).
It should be noted that the Center will provide medical services to 4,500 people across 7 residential settlements, including the villages of Ashagi Nematabad, Yukhari Nematabad, Gobuustu, Ashagi Gobuustu, Hajilar, Garibli, and Yenikand.
