European states are looking for ways to cooperate with Turkey.
elchi reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in his address to the nation after the Cabinet meeting.
“Interest in Turkey’s defense industry has increased,” he said, adding that the close attention paid to “SAHA 2026”, the largest military exhibition in Europe held in Istanbul, is proof of this.
“Those who ignored us for years, those who did not take us seriously, those who treated us like a sick man cannot hide their admiration for Turkey’s achievements. The Turkish defense industry is going through a path of development that the whole world watches with envy,” the Turkish leader emphasized.
It should be noted that the Turkey-Germany Strategic Dialogue Mechanism Meeting was held in Berlin, and both countries highlighted the importance of the partnership.
