US President Donald Trump announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping has agreed to purchase 200 aircraft from the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing.
“Elchi” reports that Trump, who is continuing his visit to China, made assessments regarding his meeting with Xi Jinping in an interview with Sean Hannity from Fox News.
Stating that they discussed many issues with Xi Jinping, Trump noted that the meeting went very well.
Trump said they made some requests from China and added: “One thing he agreed to today is ordering 200 planes. This is a very big thing, Boeing.”
US President Trump said: “This means a lot of jobs, a lot. Boeing wanted 150, they got 200.”
Trump, who is in China with a large delegation consisting of his political staff and representatives of American companies, met with Chinese President Xi Jinping for bilateral and delegation-level meetings. It is reported that Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg is also part of the delegation accompanying Trump on his visit to China.
