“Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY) will operate in an enhanced, as well as coordinated, work mode with all relevant agencies in connection with the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku from May 17 to 22.
This was reported to “Elchi” by ADY.
In particular, to effectively manage the expected high passenger traffic at the Baku Railway Station, as well as at the Koroglu and Bakikhanov stops, additional staff and volunteers have been involved at these locations. Training sessions were held for volunteers at ADY, and relevant rules were explained to ensure the proper organization of work during the event.
It should be noted that WUF13 volunteers can travel for free on trains along the Absheron circular railway route.
During the forum days, control measures will be strengthened at stations and on trains, and all necessary preventive measures will be taken to fully ensure the safety of passengers and railway infrastructure. Monitoring of compliance with safety rules at stations will be strengthened with the participation of law enforcement agencies.
ADY will actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum and will hold information sessions within the framework of the event on the topics of “The role of ADY in urban development and urbanization” and “Transformation of cities through railways.”
Information about the train schedule during WUF13 can be obtained from railway ticket offices, the www.ady.az website, the “ADY Mobile” application, or the 24/7 1822 Contact Center.
