President Erdogan awarded state order in Kazakhstan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been awarded the “Khoja Ahmed Yasawi” order by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

elchi reports that the presentation took place in Astana within the framework of the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries.

In his speech at the ceremony, President Erdogan expressed his great satisfaction at being the first person to be awarded this prestigious order, which was established in the name of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi:

“I see and accept this badge as a high compliment to the Republic of Turkey and our nation. On this occasion, I thank you, my dear brother, for your leadership in reaching the current level of brotherhood between our countries. May the Lord make our brotherhood and love eternal.”

The “Khoja Ahmed Yasawi” order was announced by Kazakh President Tokayev on April 10, 2026. With today’s ceremony, President Erdogan became the first person to be presented with the “Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Badge”.
