The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has authorized the passage of 15 ships carrying humanitarian aid through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to CENTCOM, over the past four weeks, U.S. forces have blocked the passage of 67 commercial vessels entering and leaving Iranian ports, and have also disabled 4 ships.
Furthermore, earlier this week, CENTCOM forces forced two commercial vessels to change course with warning shots and emphasized that control measures in the strait remain fully in effect.
