A practical educational event was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, organized by the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management and Education of the Ministry.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the MES, the event was attended by Colonel Zaur Karimov, Head of the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry, Colonel Fuad Mehbaliyev, First Deputy Head of the MES Academy, Azadi Guliyev, Head of the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management and Education, as well as staff of the Main Department and cadets.
Opening the event with introductory remarks, First Deputy Head of the Academy Fuad Mehbaliyev spoke about the importance of the meeting, emphasizing that such events make a significant contribution to the comprehensive training of cadets. It was noted that combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience is one of the main priorities of the educational process, and such meetings play an important role in preparing cadets for service, as well as in forming their professional outlook and operational decision-making skills.
Subsequently, Colonel Zaur Karimov, Head of the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, stated that the mentioned institution is a structural unit of the MES that carries out operational management of forces and means during the prevention of emergency situations and the elimination of their consequences. He provided detailed information about the Center’s structure, working principles, modern software used in its activities, GIS (Geographic Information System), communication and monitoring systems, as well as the operating principle of the “112” hotline.
During the event, which was held in an interactive format, the cadets showed active participation, and their questions were answered in detail.
